  Robert (Buck) Close, 67, East Fairview Street, Somerset, died Feb. 19,
  1979, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born June 4, 1911, in Uniontown, a
  son of Harry C. Close and Mabel (Burnworth) Close Rice.  Preceded by
  parents; one daughter, Kathleen Morrison, in 1970; and one brother, Thomas,
  1973.  He is survived by his wife, Rosena Arnold Close; and one daughter,
  Linda, wife of Ernest Benning, Somerset; six grandchildren; two
  half-sisters, Alice Troy, Somerset RD 5, and Mrs. Sarah Zarycki, Cleveland,
  Ohio; and one half-brother, Wayne Close, Somerset RD 3.  Retired in January,
  1978, with 17 years of service with the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. 
  Member Operating Engineers, Pittsburgh, and the International Brotherhood
  of Teamsters, Chauffers, Warehousemen and Helpers of America, Local No.
  250.  Friends are being received in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where
  services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Don Judy
  officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
