  COUNTRYMAN
  
  Mildred "Louise" Countryman, 78, of Somerset, formerly of Garrett, died
  Sept. 13, 2002 at Patriot Manor.  Born Feb. 21, 1924 in Garrett, she is the
  daughter of Lewis C. and Myrtle (Shroyer) Bittner.  Preceded in death by her
  parents, husband Harry L. Countryman (1956) and a brother Lester R.
  Bittner.  She is survived by two sons, Harry L. Jr. married to the former
  Randi Deremer, LaVale, Md. and Kenneth married to the former Jane Custer,
  Garrett; three grandchildren, Trey and Alex Countryman and Susan Porter;
  two great-grandchildren, Drew, and Brooke Porter; and a brother, Lloyd C.
  married to Evelyn Bittner, Garrett.  She was a member of Grace United
  Church of Christ, and retired from Penn Pocahontas Coal Co., both of
  Garrett.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at
  the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held 11 a.m. Monday
  with Rev. Ralph G. Landis officiating.  Interment, Highland Cemetery,
  Garrett.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Grace United Church of
  Christ, Garrett, Pa. 15542.
