"Hick" Cramer, 71, of Connellsville, Pa., died July 27, 1989, in the Highlands Hospital and Health Center. Born Aug. 28, 1917, in Rockwood, son of the late Pleasant and Maude Cramer. Retired from the B & O Railroad. Member of the New Haven Hose Company for 44 years; group commander of the Civil Air Patrol, No. 1400; member of Auxiliary Police of Connellsville; captain of Fire Police; member of the Royal Arch, Chapter 283; the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite; Boy Scout leader; and member of the Greenwood United Methodist Church. Survived by wife, Gertrude G. (McElhaney) Cramer; two sons: Bryan D. Cramer in the U.S. Air Force, Dayton, Ohio; and Charles C. Cramer, LaVale, Md; two daughters: Tammy (Cramer) Guehl, Pittsburgh; and Mrs. Ronald (Rawnie) Gillium, Grantsville, Md; two step-sons: Paul McElhaney, Virgina Beach, Va.; and Fred McElhaney, Lacanada, Calf.; 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three step-grandsons. In addition to parents, was pre-deceased by first wife, Betty Jeanne (Gaal) Cramer; second wife, Marie (Pritts) Cramer; and sister, Kathryn Marker. Friends will be received in the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 111 East Green St., Connellsville, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in funeral home Saturday with the Rev. Allyn Ricketts officiating. Interment will be in Green Ridge Memorial Park. Masonic service will be held 7 p.m Friday in funeral home. New Haven Hose Company will conduct services Friday, 7:30 p.m., in funeral home.
