  Emma Croyle, 88, Wadsworth, Ohio, formerly of Hollsopple RD 2, died July 4,
  1987, in Rittman, Ohio.  Born Aug. 25, 1898, Somerset County, daughter of
  Jacob G. and Ellen (Speicher) Stahl.  Preceded in death by husband, Lloyd,
  who died May 26, 1982; three infant children; and son, Dwayne; three
  sisters and four brothers.  Survived by these children: Dr. Denton (Mary
  Schnell), Wadsworth, Ohio; Dr. Ellis B. (Charlotte Hertzel), Archbold,
  Ohio; Mrs. Douglas (Louise) Wigle, Vista, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Violet
  Spory, Camp Hill; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.  Sister of:
  Howard of Davidsville; Ruth Brant of Somerset.  Member of the Thomas
  Mennonite Church and Senior Citizens of Maple Springs.  Family receiving
  friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in George E. Mason Funeral Home,
  Davidsville.  Remains will be removed to the Thomas Mennonite Church at
  12:30 p.m. Wednesday, where it will lie in state until time of service at
  2:30 p.m., the Rev. Ellis Croyle, the Rev. Aldus Wingard.  Interment,
  church cemetery.
