Child Drowned

  Charles Custer, 18-month-old son of Kenneth Custer, formerly of Johnstown, was 
drowned last Saturday afternoon when he fell into a spring only about one foot 
deep, on the Frank Custer farm, which is located a mile west of Shanksville.
