  James R. Danner, Sr., 57, of Vanderbilt, Pa., died July 30, 1983, in Somerset 
  Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 11, 1925, in Vanderbilt, son of Clarence Danner 
  of Connellsville and the late Gladys (Lynn) Danner.  Retired steelworker and 
  retired barber.  Member of Vanderbilt Methodist Church.  Veteran of World War II 
  (U.S. Marines).  Survived by wife, Pauline Danner, 4 sons and 4 daughters, 19 
  grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.  Friends will be received at James 
  Murphy Memorial Home, 303 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 
  from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.  Burial, 
  Scottdale Cemetery.
