Darrah, 526 Main Street, Meyersdale, died suddenly Tuesday evening at his home. He was a son of Martha (Brooks) Darrah, Meyersdale, and the late Augustus Darrah, who died in 1938. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joanna. Mr. Darrah had been employed for eight years by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways. Surviving are his wife, the former Wanda Slowak; a daughter, Mrs. Carol Noack, Fort Myers, Fla.; two grandchildren; a brother, Charles Darrah, Pittsburgh; five sisters, Mrs. Frances Wilmoth, Harrisburg; Mrs. Rita Grof, Monroeville; Mrs. Mercedes Lauerman, McKeesport; Mrs. Mary Hartle, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Josephine Beynon, Cumberland; also a stepson, David Slowak, Somerset.
