  LEE ROY DEAL
  
    Lee Roy Deal, 82, of 630 Greenville Road, Salisbury, died April 10, 2001
  at Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born Aug. 13, 1918, in Elk Lick Township, he
  was the son of the late Lester and Nellie (Reiber) Deal.  He was preceded in
  death by his wife, Betty M. (Beachy) Deal, a sister Edna Schrock and two
  brothers, Earl Deal and infant Glenn Deal.  He is survived by: 4 sons, Jerry
  Deal, Salisbury; Bernard Deal, Cumberland, Md.; Paul W. Deal, Meyersdale;
  George Deal, Salisbury; two daughters, Ellen Opel, Salisbury; and Dorothy
  Jones, Parsons, W. Va.; a brother, Clyde Deal, Salisbury; a sister, Pauline
  Shumaker, Salisbury; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Mr. Deal
  was a dairy farmer and a member of St. John's United Church of Christ,
  Salisbury.  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at
  Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md., where service
  will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Raymond Brown officiating.
  Interment will be in the Salisbury Cemetery.  Contributions may be directed
  to St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury.
