Born Nov. 25, 1914, in Detroit, Mich., son of George and Vira (Paccela) DeMarco. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Goldie M. Daniels, April 2, 1996; infant daughter, Erma Jean; grandson, Brendon DeMarco, and brother, Mario. Survived by sons: Robert J., married to Karen O'Baker, Erie, and Merle R., married to former Edtih Sowerbrower, Jennerstown; grandchildren: Paula Bessetti, Brian, Bruce, Jeffrey and Scott DeMarco and Kelly Gross; 9 great-grandchildren. Brother of Norma Rape, Evans City; Rose Forester, Cranberry, Pa., and Irene Hawkins, Pittsburgh; also survived by sisters-in-law, Grace DeMarco, Pittsburgh, and Freda Stufft, Boswell RD. Charter member of the Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle, Jennerstown. Also member of USWA. Avid banjo player. Retired from Glidden Metals, SCM Corp., Johnstown. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Gary W. Anderson officiating.
