Kenneth Derham, 46, of 126 Elaine Street, was dead on arrival Thursday, Nov. 20, 1986, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser W. Va. Born in Cross, W. Va. he was the son of Mildred A. (DeShong) Derham, Mill Run, and the late Gerald B. Derham. He was employed by Westvaco Corporation, Luke, in the roll wrapping department. Serving six months in the Army in 1961, he was a member of Luke Local 676 UPIU. He was a graduate of Valley High School; Catherman's Business school and a former member of the Maryland National Guard. In addition to his mother, he also is survived by his widow, Dorothy (Harris) Derham; two sons: Todd K. Derham and Eric S. Derham, both at home; four sisters: Mrs. Regina Lancaster, Barton; Mrs. Retha Duckworth, Frostburg, Md.; Mrs. Faye Long, Wellersburg; and Mrs. Donna Juday, Counselor, N.M. Friends were received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, Md., where services were conducted Monday at 1 p.m. The Republic, November 27, 1986 [D0466]
