Born March 3, 1936, in Hooversville, a daughter of Charles Geisel and Dorthea Irene (Weaver) Clark. Preceded in death by parents and stepfather, Emory Williams. Survived by husband, James Carl Dinning to whom she was married 46 years; children: Mrs. Anthony J. (Robin D.) Palmieri of Exton, Pa., Mrs. Allen J. (Stacey L.) Long of Berlin, Mrs. Richard T. (Michelle) Clancy of Coatesville, seven grandchildren: Christopher, Stephen, and Ashley Palmieri, Jim and Justine Long, Ali and Ann Clancy. Sister of Charles Clark Jr. of Fredericksburg, Va., Gwynn Clark of Naperville, Ill., Dr. Robert Clark of Selinsgrove, Pa., Jerry Clark of Garrettsville, Ohio, Mrs. Richard (Sandra) Hogan of Ambridge, Pa., and Dennis Clark of Masury, Ohio. A 1954 graduate of Forbes High School. A 1958 graduate with a bachelor's degree in Education from Indiana State College. She retired in 1999 as an elementary school teacher for Rockwood Area Schools. Member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and active on the administrative board; Somerset Welfare League and Co-Chairperson of the Cotillion Board; Board member of Children's Aide Home of Somerset County. Member of PSEA/NEA. Listed in Who's Who of American School Teachers; and a member of Somerset Country Club. She devoted her life to God and family. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church, Somerset with the Rev. Charles F. Olson officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
