She had been confined to her bed the last several months. Miss Dorsey was born in Berlin, Pa., April 22, 1858, and moved to Garrett County with her parents in 1872. She was in her 74th year when she passed away. She is survived by two sisters, Miss Mary C. Dorsey, Grantsville, and Sister Luca, of Notre Dame, Ind., and four brothers, Dr. J. H. Dorsey and Daniel W. Dorsey, of Grantsville; James B. Dorsey, Everett, Wash., and Dr. Frank P. Dorsey, Harrington, Neb. Miss Dorsey was of an unassuming nature and always interested in the welfare of her many friends and guests whom she became acquainted with at the hotel, and was always appreciative of the kindness of those whom she associated with. She was a faithful and devout member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church of Grantsville where the funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. Rev. Father Culbert officiated, and Very Rev. Father Brady and choir of Meyersdale sang the mass. A large assembly of friends and relatives attended.
