  DOWIE
  
  Harry E. Dowie, 81, of South Harrison Ave., Somerset, died April 9, 1980,
  in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born May 26, 1898, in Low Fell, England,
  son of the late Peter and Margaret (Harvey) Dowie.  Also preceded in death
  by two sisters, Annie and Jennie.  Survived by wife, the former Yolande E.
  Small; a daughter, Eloise, wife of Norman E. Goetz, Somerset; and a
  brother, Robert R., Somerset RD 2.  Member of St. Paul's Presbyterian
  Church, Somerset; life member, Syria Temple, Pittsburgh.  Past president of
  Homestead Rotary Club and former member of Somerset Rotary Club.  Former
  member of Homestead Hospital Board.  Retired from Mesta Machine Co. in 1964
  as assistant superintendent.  Services will be conducted today at 10 a.m. at
  the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Hull officiating. 
  Interment, Grandview Cemetery, McKeesport.  Contributions may be made to
  St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset.
