Born Sept. 25, 1924, in Brothersvalley Township, Somerset County, son of the late Wasco and Mary (Salabay) Drabish. Preceded in death by one brother, George. Survived by one sister, Ann Conrad, Maryland; two brothers: Nicholas, Baltimore, Md.; and Steve and his wife, Carole, Walton Hills, Ohio; a number of nieces and nephews, and a very dear friend Mary Alice Ryan. Veteran of World War II and received the Purple Heart. Served in the National Guard. Retired from Rockwood manufacturing Co. and former school bus driver. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, with the Rev. Ralph G. Landis officiating.
