Durst, 58, of Salisbury, died Nov. 30, 1980, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. He was born Dec. 3, 1921, in Elk Lick Township, son of the late Daniel D. and Nancy (Mort) Durst. He is survived by his wife, the former Marjorie June Williams; and also three daughters: Mrs. Terri Aikem, of St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Kathie Brown, of Massillon, Ohio; and Mrs. Jill Keating of Cumberland, Md. Also four brothers: Morley, of New York; Daniel E. Durst, of Dearborn, Mich.; William C. Durst of Salisbury RD 1; and Charles W. Durst of Taylor, Mich. Also two sisters: Mrs. June Gaumer, Salisbury RD 1; and Mrs. Mildred Yutzy, Taylor, Mich.; also three grandchildren. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Salisbury and a veteran of World War II. He was plant manager of the Boynton Division of Champion Pipe Products for 29 years. Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where services were held with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to the Hospice Unit of the Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. The Republic, December 4, 1980 [D1085]
