  SOFIA C. DURST
  
    Sofia C. Durst, 80, Salisbury RD1, died October 24, 1982, at sacred Heart
  Hospital, Cumberland, Maryland.  
    She was born November 9, 1901 in Garrett County Maryland, the daughter of
  the late Robert and Catherine (Cuschlag) Bowser.  She was preceded in death
  by her husband Ernest G. Durst.  She is survived by sons Wilford E. Durst,
  Meyersdale; Paul W, Durst, Salisbury RD 1 and daughter Mrs. Phyllis V.
  Beachy, Grantsville, Maryland, and granddaughters Linda G, Beachy and Sally
  A. Lawson, of Grantsville and one great-grandson, Russell Ray Lawson.  She
  was the sister of Mrs. Annie Durst, Salisbury RD 1.  She was a member of
  St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury. 
    Services were held Wednesday, October 27, at 11 a.m. at the Thomas
  Funeral Home with the Rev. Maurice R. Smith officiating.  Interment,
  Salisbury.
