Durst, 64, of 4118 Duane Avenue, Baltimore, Md., died at his residence Thursday, January 17, 1985. Born in Grantsville, Md., he was a son of the late Lee W. Durst and Ruth (Patton) Durst. He was preceded in death by his wife, Madge (Addison) Durst. He was a member of the Lutheran Church, a veteran of World War II, and the VFW. He was retired from ARMCO Steel, Baltimore. He is survived by three sons, Larry Durst, Gregory Durst, and Ricky Durst, all of Baltimore, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Robin K. Ruiz, Baltimore, Md. with whom he resided; one brother, Claude E. Durst, Grantsville, Md.; five sisters, Mrs. Freda Handwerk, Oakland; Mrs. Edna Hare, Belle Vernon; Mrs. Eva Ely, Mrs. Emma Jean Kaefer, both of Grantsville, Md.; and Mrs. Frances Means, Cumberland, Md.; six grandchildren. Friends were received at the George J. Gonze Funeral Home, 4001 Ritchie Highway, Baltimore, Md. where services were conducted Monday at 11:45 a.m. The Republic, January 24, 1985 [D1120]
