  Howard W. (Pap) Emert, 64, Somerset RD 2, died July 22, 1984, at Conemaugh
  Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Jan. 16, 1920, in Lincoln
  Township, a son of the late William H. ("Peg") and Jennie Edna (Miller)
  Emert.  Also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.  Survived by
  his widow, the former Lottie Slickerman, and these children: James W.,
  married to the former Mary Bumbarger, Judith Ann, Linda Sue and Billy Lee,
  all of Somerset RD 2; grandsons: Jamie and Joey. Brother of: Mrs. Glen D.
  (Mary Louise) Miller, Somerset RD 2.  Member of Beulah United Methodist
  Church.  Former employee of the Somerset Lumber Co. and Pleasant Avenue
  Builders Supply.  His death ended a marriage of 41 years.  Family will
  receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Wednesday in the Beulah United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Herbert Lohr
  and the Rev. Ray Gnagey officiating.  Body will lie in state at the church
  from 10 a.m. Wednesday until service time.  Interment, Beulah Cemetery.
