ROBERT EDGAR ENGLE

  Robert Edgar Engle died suddenly Sunday morning, October 21, of a heart 
condition, at his home in Columbiana, Ohio, at the age of 52 years, 1 month, and 
4 days.
  A son of the late Theodore and Diana (Keifer) Engle, he was born in Somerset 
County, Pa., Sept. 17, 1893.
  Nov. 28, 1924, he married Miss Ella Barmoy, and was the father of two sons, 
Robert, at home and Pvt. Glen, U.S. Army, Camp Pickett, Va.
  He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion and of 
Grace Reformed Church, Columbiana.
  Besides his wife and two sons, he is survived by one brother, Irvin Engle, 
Meyersdale, and three sisters, Olive Manges, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Eva Manges, 
Akron, O., and Mrs. Mary Berkey, Akron, O.
  Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 24, at 1:30 p.m., at the Fry 
Funeral Home with Rev. Waldo Bartells, officiating.  Pallbearers were comrades 
of the American Legion.  Interment in the Columbiana Cemetery.
