Engleka, 56, of Akron, Ohio, died Dec. 6, 1982, in Akron after a one-year illness. He was born June 29, 1927, in Somerset, a son of Clarence H. and Viola (Akerman) Engleka. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Anderson) Engleka, Akron; one son, Johnathan, at home; two daughters: Mrs. Michelle Gibson, Akron; and Miss Jennifer Akron; by three sisters: Mrs. Helen Miller, Rockwood RD 3; Mrs. Elizabeth Knopsnyder and Mrs. Grace L. Spangler, both of Rockwood RD 2; by these brothers: Elwood, Las Vegas, Nev.; Carl, Johnstown; Merle, Somerset; and Warren, Somerset. He worked in special services at the Akron University. He was a resident of Akron, Ohio, for 22 years. Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, where services were conducted with the Rev. Donald Krestar officiating.
