  Eugene F. Evans, 67, died Nov. 22, 2005, at Sebastian River Medical Center,
  Fla. He was born in Acosta. He lived in Indian River County since 1989.
  
  He worked for the CSX railroad as a general car foreman before retiring after
  32 years. He was a mason and a shriner. He is survived by his wife Shirley,
  Sebastian; his son Eugene R. Evans, Renfure; a daughter Leann Judd,
  Fredericksburg Va.; brothers Richard Evans, Harrisburg and Jeffrey Evans,
  Stoystown; and four grandchildren. No services planned at this time. The family
  will make arrangements for service at a later date in Somerset.

  A memorial service will be held for Eugene F. Evans at noon Saturday at
  Somerset Memorial Park. Friends are welcome. He is survived by Shirley, his
  wife of 49 years; son, Eugene and wife, Carlynn Straiser; daughter Leann and
  husband, Richard Judd; brothers Richard, Elizabethtown; and Jeffrey, Stoystown.
