    Donald J. "Joe" Ferre, 78, Jerome and Seminole, Fla., formerly of
  Hollsopple, died Aug. 14, 1994, at Dover General Hospital, Dover, N.J.  Born
  June 8, 1916, in Force, Pa., son of Peter and Josephine (Chipinni) Ferre.
  Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Anna D. Krassnoski; infant
  son, Joseph, and sister, Mary Tonolini.  Survived by these children:
  Dorothy, wife of William Burkey, Davidsville; Phina, wife of Dick Brewer,
  Dover, N.J., and Donald, married to Penny Nichols, St. Petersburg, Fla.;
  also six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Brother of Mario V.
  "Frank", Akron, Ohio; Jennie Underwood, Somerset, and Constant, Boswell.
  Member of the UMWA.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and 2 to 4
  p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street,
  Boswell, where wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.  Mass of
  Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church,
  Boswell, with Father Harold N. Biller officiating.  Interment SS. Peter and
  Paul Cemetery, Windber.
