Born May 20, 1898 in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Eleanor (Bittner) Mankamyer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson, and daughter Doretha Huff. She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Simms, Fern Darr, both of Akron, Ohio; and Maxine Presson of Crossville, Tennessee; and a son, Jack Finzel, of Akron, Ohio. She is also survived by two sisters, Margaret Weimer, Meyersdale; and Pauline Smith, Westminster, Md.; and two brothers, Howard Mankamyer, Brimfield, Ohio; and Oscar Mankamyer, of Easton, Md.; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was an Akron resident for 65 years, a member of the United Methodist Church Loyal Daughters Class and AARP. Friends were received at the Schlup Funeral Chapel in Kenmore, Ohio, where services were held Saturday, February 2, at noon. The Rev.
