  FIRESTONE
  
  Verda M. Firestone, 74, Melcroft, Pa., died June 25, 1985.  Born Jan. 30,
  1911, in Saltlick Township, daughter of the late Norman and Jennie (Enos) 
  Snyder.  Survived by three daughters; Mrs. Abraham (Jenny) Davison, Friedens 
  RD 1; Mrs. William (Patricia) Wilders, of Melcroft; Mrs. Charles (Geraldine) 
  Keyser, Somerset RD 6; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five
  sisters: Mabel Richter, Kathryn Prinkey, Mrs. Meyers (Dolly) Laymon, all of
  Normalville; Pauline Brown, Scottdale; and Erma Laymon, Ohio.  Preceded in
  death by husband, Carl L. Firestone, two brothers, one sister.  Friends
  will be received at Clyde Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., Rt. 711, Melcroft,
  from 3-9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday.  Services will be held
  Saturday at 1 p.m. at funeral home with the Rev. James Vandervort, the Rev.
  David Huey, and the Rev. Robert McNeel officiating.  Interment will follow
  at the Normalville Cemetery.
