  FOLAN
  
    Thomas J. Folan, 75, of Friendship Village, Bedford, died June 21, 1999,
  at UPMC Bedford Memorial.  Born May 21, 1924, in Pittsburgh.  Son of the
  late Joseph V. and Marzella (Weidt) Folan.  On Jan. 28, 1946 in Indiana, he
  married Mary "Anne" Albright and she survives along with a son, David R.
  Folan, married to the former Linda Ruffing of Johnstown, and one
  granddaughter.  Preceded in death by one sister, Delores Emlock.  Member of
  Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford.  Avid square dancer and an amateur radio
  operator.  He had worked for A&P for 30 years, retiring in 1975, and then
  worked for seven years with Crown American at the Holiday Inn in Johnstown,
  retiring in 1986.  Funeral Services:  Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the
  Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Raymond E. Short officiating. 
  Friends will be received at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in
  Bedford on Thursday from 2-4 and for a half hour prior to the service at
  the church Thursday evening.
