    Elmer E. Francis, 75, 736 Cypress Ave., Johnstown, died Apr. 21, 1990, at
  Lee Hospital.  Born Sept. 26, 1914, in Rockwood.  Son of the late Frederick
  D. and Grace (Bowers) Francis.  Preceded in death by wife, former Adelaide
  Brady, and sister, Sally Ann.  Survived by daughter, Virginia Glick, Scotch
  Plains, N.J.; and two grandchildren.  Brother of Harold, LaVale, Md.; Violet
  Resh, Ravenna, Ohio; Charles, Somerset; Robert, Conway, S.C.; Vohn, Gibson,
  Mo.; Althea Stubblefield, Gainesville, Fla.; Amber Davis, Greenwood, S.C.;
  Betty Davis, Madison, Ohio; and Jean Means, Kent, Ohio; also survived by
  friend, Mary Ellen Benford, Johnstown.  Retired machinist from White
  Consolidated Steel Co., Pittsburgh.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Tuesday at The Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., where service will be
  held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Nelson F. Ilgenfritz officiating. 
  Interment, Rockwood Cemetery.
