CHARLES GARDNER

  Charles Gardner, aged 54, died on Tuesday, March 18th, at the home of his 
brother, William Gardner, in Somerset, following a brief illness of pneumonia.  
He was a son of Mrs. Priscilla Gardner, of Bakersville.  He had been a patient 
in the Memorial Hospital in Johnstown for a month and was removed to his home in 
Somerset three weeks ago.  In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, 
Mrs. Anna (Bisel) Gardner, and two children, Ruth and Walter, both at home.  
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, March 20th in the Bakersville 
Lutheran Church, in charge of Rev. H. M. Petrea.  Interment in the church 
cemetery.
