GEIGER Lewis William Geiger, for some years a train conductor on the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, died in Cumberland, Md., last Thursday evening. He lacked ten days of being 66 years old. He was born in Larimer Township. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie (Swearman) Geiger, and these children: Ralph, Theodore and Fred, living with their mother on the home farm near Meyersdale; Paul and Charles, both of Meyersdale; Walter and Harry, both of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. W. D. Titus, Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. L. T. Hockman, Philadelphia. Funeral services were conducted for him at the home of his brother, Calvin L. Geiger, near Sippleville, Saturday afternoon, by Rev. J. E. Gindlesperger, pastor of the White Oak Evangelical and Reformed Church. Interment was made in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale, under the direction of R. Reich & Son. Meyersdale Republican, June 5, 1941
