  GERHART
  
    John W. Gerhart, 82, Garrett died May 4, 2000 in Meyersdale.  Born Oct.
  6, 1917 in Meyersdale, son of the late Clyde and Sadie (Mull) Gerhart. 
  Also preceded in death by his wife, the former Irene E. Sheeler; two
  brothers: Roy and Roger; and four sisters: Marie Gerhart, Thelma Clites,
  Anna Boden, and Ruth Bowers.  Survived by two daughters: Joan M. wife of
  William Sembower, Stoystown, and Maxine L., wife of John Montgomery,
  Mechanicsburg, and a son, John E. Gerhart, married to the former Connie
  Yoder, Medina, Ohio.  Also six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 
  A member of the Garrett United Methodist Church.  Retired from the Western
  Maryland Railroad.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Saturday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Service will be conducted
  at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Garrett United Methodist Church, with the Rev.
  Craig Lyman officiating.  Interment, Highland Cemetery Garrett.
