Gindlesperger, 85, Quecreek, died Aug. 2, 2006, at Somerset Hospital. Born March 22, 1921, in Lincoln Township, he is the son of the late Lemon and Daisy Gindlesperger. Also preceded in death by one grandchild, one great-grandchild, brothers, Melvin, Ed and Lee and an infant sister. Survived by his wife, the former Marion Fisher; children, Ruby Gindlesperger, Confluence, Harold Gindlesperger, Stoystown and Ralph Gindlesperger, Quecreek. Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Brother of Lester, Central City; Kenneth, Quecreek; Dean, Gray, Ray, Somerset; Paul and Betsy Smalley, both of Chambersburg. Retired camp-tender and coal miner and was an avid horseshoe pitcher. Member of Somerset Christian Fellowship. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home and from 12:30 p.m. to the time of service at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Somerset Christian Fellowship. The Rev. William J. Dodson officiating. Interment in Sipesville Cemetery.
