Her death was caused by pneumonia, of which she was ill for one week. Fifty-five years ago she was united in marriage with James Glessner, and to them were born two children, one of whom died in infancy. She is survived by her husband, a son, Harry, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Glessner spent the greater part of their married life on a farm in Allegheny Township, this county. About a year ago they made sale and moved to Federalsburg, Md., where they lived with their son. The body was taken by train to Bedford where a Bedford undertaker took charge. Harry Glessner accompanied the body. The bereaved husband, Mrs. Harry Glessner, James Glessner, Jr., and wife and Robert Glessner, came by automobile for the funeral which was held at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Allegheny Township, on Christmas day, with burial in the Mt. Zion cemetery. Rev. C. P. Bastian of Berlin conducted the funeral services. Among the relatives who attended the funeral were Mae Glessner of Berlin, Minerva Hershizer of Meyersdale and Nellie Hershizer of Wilkinsburg. Mrs. Glessner was confirmed at Mt. Zion, in her girlhood days and lived faithful to her religious vows. It is said that the plot in which her mortal remains were interred was within the foundation walls of the old church in which she was confirmed. Meyersdale Republican, January 2, 1930
