  GNAGEY
  
    John Paul Gnagey, 51, Ellicott City, Md., formerly of Meyersdale, passed
  away July 17, 1999 at Gilcrest Hospice Center, Md.  Born Oct. 23, 1947, the
  son of William D. and Pauline M. Gnagey of Meyersdale.  He was the beloved
  husband of Judith (Simmons) Gnagey and devoted father of William Stewart
  Gnagey and Andrew John Gnagey, all of Ellicott City; dearest twin brother
  of Edgar William Gnagey of Meyersdale and brother of Carol G. Powell of
  Massachusetts.  He was a graduate of the Meyersdale School district,
  attended California University of Pennsylvania and Duquesne University.  He
  was a former teacher in the Rockwood School District, the IU8 and Dunlogin
  Middle School in Howard County, Md.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be
  made to Zion Lutheran Church, Meyersdale, in care of the John P. Gnagey
  Memorial Fund.
