    Justine V. Gontis, 67, 601 Stonycreek St., Boswell, died Oct. 17, 1987,
  at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born April 14, 1920, in Boswell,
  daughter of Stanley and Constance (Sczepanski) Szymansky.  Preceded in death
  by parents; husband, Charles E., who died Nov. 27, 1978; infant brother and
  sister; and brother, Frank.  Survived by these daughters: Connie F., Falls
  Church, Va.; Charlene A., wife of John Popernack III, Boswell; Justine J.,
  wife of Robert Neri, St. Petersburg, Fla.; five grandchildren. Sister of
  Stella, wife of Nick Pelesky, Jenners; Robert, married to the former Sarah
  Jane Heiple, Jennerstown; also very close friend John Baraniak, Boswell.
  Member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Boswell; I.L.G.W.U.; and Friday
  Night Couples Bowling League, Terrace Lanes, Jerome. Former employee of Cay
  Artley, Johnstown.  Friends received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday at
  Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held
  at 7:30 p.m. Monday.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St.
  Stanislaus Church, with the Rev. Alfred Evanoski O.F.M. Conv. Officiating.
  Interment, church cemetery.  Memorial contributions to S.S.H.ared c/o
  Somerset State Hospital, Somerset, would be appreciated.
