III 03/06/08 The New Republic April 25, 1954 February 24, 2008 William "Bill" A. Grasser, III, 53, died at his home at 322 Gales Ferry Road, Groton, Connecticut on February 24, 2008. Bill was born April 25, 1954 in Meyersdale, the son of William A. Grasser, Jr. and the late Betty Woullard Grasser. Bill was married to Michele M. Wilson, March 12, 1988 in Linthicum, MD. He is survived by his wife, Michele M. and sons: Brian A. Grasser and Evan M. Grasser, both of Groton; his father, Bill and his wife, Sharon (Bear) Grasser, Meyersdale; brother, David Grasser, Berlin; and four sisters: Jane Yoder, wife of Carl Yoder, Jones Mill; Mary Grasser, Meyersdale; Gloria Grasser, Manassas, VA; and Marie Grasser, Harrisburg. Bill was a Research Scientist at Pfizer for sixteen years. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Groton and had been the Chairperson of the Parish Festival for five years. He was active in scouting with the Boy Scouts of America. A Mass of Christian Burial was held February 27 at Sacred Heart Church, Groton. A Requiem Mass will be held in St. Philips and James Church in Meyersdale at a later date. Jr. and the late Betty Woullard Grasser. He is survived by his wife, the former Michele M.
