  LYDIA GREEN
  
    Lydia Viola Green, 84, died April 21, 1978, in Salisbury.  Born in Elk
  Lick Township Feb. 13, 1894, she was a daughter of the late Elias and
  Caroline (Kinsinger) Handwerk.
    She is survived by two daughters: Miss Edith Markwell of Annapolis, Md.;
  and Miss Eleanor Maust of Salisbury; one brother, Victor Handwerk of
  Osterburg, Pa.; one sister, Verna Bowser of Frostburg, Md.; also four
  grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
    Services were held Sunday at the Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel
  Whitacre officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
