  GRIFFITH
  
  Paul S. Griffith, 80, of Listie, died May 29, 1983, at Somerset Community
  Hospital.  Born Oct 13, 1902, in Listie, son of the late Thomas and Maggie
  (Grine) Griffith.  Also preceded in death by three sisters and two
  brothers.  Survived by widow, the former Lizzie Lape; and these children:
  Roy, Listie; Charles, McConnellsburg; William, Somerset RD7; seven
  grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Sister (sic) of Lizzie
  Winters, Boswell.  Member of Listie Lutheran Church, F.O.E.  He was a
  retiree of Somerset State Hospital.  His death ended a marriage of 61
  years.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Tuesday) at
  the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2
  p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Robert E. Thomas officiating.  Interment,
  Casebeer Cemetery.  Family suggests contributions be made to the Cancer
  Society or Easter Seals.
