Grove, 74, of 310 Harvard Street, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 1986, in the hospice at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md., where he had been a patient 1 1/2 weeks. Born in Boynton, he was a son of the late Charles Wesley Grove and Cora Susan (Bauman) Grove. He was a retired employee of the Celanese Fibers Corporation of America. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Estella Marie (Thomas) Grove; three sons, Glenn W. Grove, Baltimore, Md.; Donald L. Grove and Ronald L. Grove, both of Cumberland, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Darlene M. Wagoner, Short Gap, W. Va.; a brother, Lynn Grove, Dearborn, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. Maude Evans, Dearborn, Michigan; Mrs. Dorothy Warner, Hagerstown, Md.; Mrs. Freda Webber, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Pauline White, Manassas, Va.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral Residence where services were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. by Rev. Robert J. Nair. Interment Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
