  MRS. WM. H. HABEL JR.
  
   Ora G. Habel, 67, wife of William H. Habel Jr., of 13 West Roseville Road,
  Lancaster, died June 2, 1975, in Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital, after an
  illness of approximately nine weeks.
    Born in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Catherine
  (Bittner) Gauntz.
    She attended California State Teachers College and through the 50's
  taught in the Penn Township school system.  She was a member of St. Paul's
  United Church of Christ of Lancaster; James Buchanan Chapter 315, Order of
  Eastern Star and Alta Shrine No. 38. 
    Surviving are her husband, whom she married June 11, 1927; a daughter,
  Shirley Lee, wife of David H. Garrett, of Lancaster; one granddaughter; a
  brother, Harry Gauntz, Meyersdale; and two sisters, Sarah, wife of John
  Siehl, Detroit, Mich.; and Nell, wife of Frank Saitz, Livonia, Mich.
    Funeral service was held Thursday afternoon, June 5, in Fred F. Groff
  Funeral Home, Lancaster with Rev. Nevin E. Schellenberger and Rev. Willis
  Rabert officiating.  Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.
