Hall, 96, Farmington, formerly of Ursina, died Dec. 14, 2004, at her home. Born Sept. 17, 1908 in Morgantown, W.Va., daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Catherine (Bowman) Austin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 78 years Joseph Homer Hall, infant daughter Hazel Mae, daughter Linda Metheney, foster son Leonard Hall, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brothers Ernest and Ervin Austin and sister Mabel Poling. Survived by daughters Jean and husband Roy Hostetler, Ursina, Viola and husband Harvey Bowser, Oakland, Md., Esther Sanner, Rockwood, Ruby and husband Harry Lytle, Ursina, and Virginia and husband Hartzel Williams, Farmington; 18 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. She liked to sew and crochet and was an avid bingo player. She attended the Ursina Lutheran Church for many years. Friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. the hour of service Friday at Humbert Funeral Home Confluence. The Rev. Ronald Schaeffer officiating.
