  MARIE V. HALLE
  
    Marie V. Halle, 72, of Barrelville Road, Wellersburg, died Tuesday, May
  29, 1990, at Memorial Hospital in Cumberland, Md.
    Born Oct. 26, 1917 in Wellersburg, she was a daughter of the late Ralph
  and Lavada O. (Troutman) Sturtz.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Halle, on Aug. 17, 1970.
    She was a former employee of Celanese and Kelly-Springfield and retired
  from the Sylvania Plant in Warren, after 26 years of work.
    She was a member of the Zion Lutheran and Reformed Church of Wellersburg,
  member of the church's ladies guild.
    She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alverda Mae Spataro, Morantown, Md.,
  and Mrs. Violet Ilene Skipper, Mount Savage, Md.; and one brother, Robert S.
  Sturtz, Barrellville Road, Wellersburg.
    One sister and one brother also preceded her in death.
    Friends were received at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg, Md.  Funeral
  services were held Friday, June 1 at the funeral home with Rev. Harold W.
  Crabtree officiating.  Interment Cook Cemetery.
