Harding, 66, Fort Loudon, died Aug. 14, 1981, at his home. A native of Salisbury, he was a son of the late John and Reeva May (Chandler) Harding. He was a veteran of World War II and Vietnam, he was retired from the Navy with 23 years of service and was a member of McConnellsburg VFW. He is survived by his step-mother, Annie B. Harding, Salisbury; a son, John J. Harding, Chambersburg; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn L. Solosko, Salisbury and two grandchildren. Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home where services were held with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment will be in Salisbury Cemetery. The Republic, August 20, 1981 [H0249]
