Hartman, 75, of Rockingham, died Feb. 26, 1998 in her home. Born Jan. 23, 1923, in Windber, daughter of the late Russell and Mahala A. (Knieriem) Auman. Preceded in death by her husband William McCabe Sr.; sons Rodney and Lance Hartman; daughter Pamela Collins; grandchildren Richard, Sherrie and Shannon Collins; brothers Silas, Elwood, Clinton, and Elroy; and sisters Diana and Rosale. Survived by these children: William McCabe Jr., Stacey, Dave, Sanford, Russell, Wade and Todd Hartman and a daughter Amanda Thomas. Also 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Sister of Russell T. Auman of Tennessee, and Dorothy McCabe of Latrobe. Member of the Windber Congregation of Jehovah's Witness. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today (Friday) in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Elder Ronald Welch officiating.
