  Margaret M. Hays, 57, Carpenter Park Road, Hollsopple, died Jan. 20, 1997,
  in Springdale.  Born Aug. 14, 1939, in Acmetonia, daughter of Walter and
  Mildred (Carney) Sheppard.  Preceded in death by father and brother,
  Walter.  Survived by mother of Pittsburgh; husband, Donald; and these
  children: Clinton, husband of Mariann of Geistown; and Ray of Gibsonia; and
  three grandchildren: Shauna, Tamara and Allison.  Sister of George, Milton
  and John, all of Pittsburgh.  Death breaks marriage union of 38 years. 
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to p.m. Thursday at George E.
  Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville, where funeral services will be conducted at
  11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Nelson Ilgenfritz officiating.  Interment, Custer
  Cemetery.
