Her death was caused by a cerebral hemorrhage. She was a daughter of Monroe and Rosan Coleman Lenheart and was the wife of the late Porter Hersh. She is survived by a son and three daughters; namely, Orville Hersh of Amsterdam, Ohio; Mrs. Minnie Sheets of Jerome; Clara, wife of William Hinebaugh, of Boynton, and Gertrude, wife of Lester Engle, of Elk Lick Township. She is also survived by one brother, John Lenhart, of Monongahela, Pa. Funeral services for Mrs. Hersh were held last Sunday at 2:00 p.m., at the home she and Mrs. Floella Somerville had jointly occupied during the last few years. The officiating minister was Rev. A. Jay Replogle, pastor of the Salisbury Church of the Brethren, of which Mrs. Hersh was a member. Interment was in the St. Paul Cemetery, under the direction of Stanley M. Thomas, mortician, of Salisbury. Meyersdale Republican, April 16, 1942
