  GEORGE HETZ
  
    George E. "Sandy" Hetz, 96, of Accident, MD, died Saturday, March 13,
  1993, at Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    He was born March 8, 1897, in Accident.  He was the son of the late
  George and Christina (Diehl) Hetz.
    He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elsie H. (George) Hetz, on
  September 11, 1987.
    Mr. Hetz was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church (ELCA), the
  Cove.  He was a farmer and a school bus contractor.
    Survivors include one daughter, Violet E. Reichenbecher, Accident; two
  grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received in the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where a
  service was held Wednesday, with the Rev. Stephen Yelovich.  Interment was
  in St. John's Cemetery.
