  HILLEGASS
  
  Mary J. Hillegass, 80, of Shanksville, died July 19, 2002 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born April 2, 1922 in Shanksville, the daughter of Emory and
  Mary (Wissinger) McNeal.  Preceded in death by parents; husband Blaine;
  brothers Ramsey and Frank McNeal; and sisters Kathryn Robine, Ida Ward and
  Thelma Manges.  Survived by two sons Richard B., married to the former
  Tanis Bentz of Woodbridge, Va., and James A., at home; grandchildren Brian
  Hillegass, married to the former Stephanie Bishop, and Melissa Hillegass;
  great-grandchildren Brandon, Blaine and Christian Hillegass.  Also survived
  by sisters Freda Fritz of Stoystown and Edith Miller of Central City.  A
  1940 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School.  Member of Shanksville
  United Methodist Church.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at
  10 a.m. Monday.  Rev. Ronald Emery officiating.  Interment, Schellsburg
  Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to Shanksville United
  Methodist Church, Shanksville, Pa., 15560.
