  HOFFMAN
  
    Roy H. Hoffman, 85, of Somerset RD 6 died March 17, 1993, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Oct. 21, 1907, in Somerset Township.  Son of Irvin and
  Carrie (Stern) Hoffman.  Preceded in death by two grandchildren, brother,
  Earl, and sisters, Odessa Ankeny and Jennie Kimmel.  Survived by his wife
  of 51 years, the former Hazel Barron; daughters - Dolores, married to
  Charles R. Deaner, Stoystown; Dorene "Sis," married to Robert J. Murray,
  and Carol Lee, married to William C. Rhodes, both of Somerset RD 6, and
  Celine, married to Thomas L. Horner, Boswell RD 1.  15 grandchildren, 16
  great-grandchildren.  Brother of Edith Baughman, Somerset RD 3; Anna Emert
  and Sara, married to Harold Crawford, both of Somerset.  Retired coal
  miner.  Formerly employed by PennDOT and Miller Electric.  Member of Mt.
  Calvary Lutheran Church, Lavansville; UMWA Local 1742, and Somerset Aerie
  1801, FOE.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 3 to
  5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing from
  noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mr. Calvary Lutheran
  Church, Rev. Sherry Miller officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.  Memorials may be given to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, RD 6
  Box 452-1A, Somerset, Pa. 15501.
