Born Feb. 2, 1896, in Fort Hill, son of the late Elijah and Mary (Gower) Holliday. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Gertrude (Smith) Holliday, and two sons. Survived by daughter, Beulah Gunderman, Confluence, and two grandsons. He was a veteran of World War I. Member of the Somerset V.F.W. and Harnedsville United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Otis Beeler and the Rev. Edd Myers officiating.
