Born at Jennings, Md., she was a daughter of the late Samuel Hare and Barbara (Yommer) Hare. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Accident and the Ladies Aid and was preceded in death by her husband, Webster Hoover, in 1975. Surviving are one son, Homer Hoover of Cresaptown, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Sloan of Springfield, Va.; two brothers, Lester Hare of Belle Vernon, and Ralph Hare of Monongahela; two sisters, Mrs. Lillieth Miller of Oakland, Md., and Mrs. Elizabeth Maras of Belle Vernon; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services were conducted at Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Frederick Illick officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The Republic, August 26, 1982 [H1513]
