Hoppert, 87, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Fairhope, died April 28, 1980 at Cuyahoga General Hospital. He was born Sept. 26, 1892 in Fairhope, son of the late Henry and Rose (Platt) Hoppert. He was also preceded in death by daughter Betty Lou Maust and brother Carl. He is survived by wife, the former Carrie Deeter and these children: Mrs. Fay Aleman, Akron, Ohio; and Lee of Fairhope RD 1; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Frazier of Fairhope, and Mrs. Orpha Lambert, Portland, Oregon. He was a retired farmer and a member of Eastwood Church of the Brethren, Akron, and former member of Brotherton Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Thursday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m., Rev. Herold V. Seese and Rev. James Hall officiating.
